About Our Healthcare Consultations
If you’re considering one of our renowned healthcare beds or mattresses, and you have specific requirements to factor into your purchase, we invite you to come in for a personalised tour of our full range of products – we call these healthcare consultations.
Our team of sleep care professionals have a deep level of knowledge and experience in aligning our healthcare product range with the specific needs of customers. We have a comprehensive understanding of how the NDIS and Aged Care funding models work, with in-store staff available to facilitate claims if you are on a current NDIS or Aged Care Plan.
What To Expect
- We recommend booking a 2-hour window to ensure we have enough time to take you through our products, whilst giving you ample opportunity to test and trial our range in the privacy of one of our showrooms.
- We will take you through our product range, with a look into customised options like fabrics, colours, custom headboards, rail covers and custom-made sheets – and more!
- We can facilitate any NDIS and Aged Care claims in-store thanks to our team of experienced sleep professionals – we may ask you to provide some information ahead of coming in:
- If you are on an NDIS plan, we may ask for your NDIS number and a copy of your plan if you are comfortable providing this.
- If it is an Aged Care consultation, we may ask for your home care package provider.
- We suggest wearing comfortable clothes so that you can try the beds and mattresses in clothing similar to your sleeping attire, to ensure you enjoy an authentic trial experience.
- Support workers are also welcome so bring yours along to the appointment if you wish!
- 2-hour free parking is available across the road from our store at Cottesloe Central.
Why Bookings Are Recommended
We encourage booking in advance ahead of visiting our showroom or warehouse to view our healthcare range. As these are tailored 1-on-1 appointments, it is essential for us to understand your needs, concerns and/or conditions so we can prepare for your appointment with your exact requirements and needs in mind.
This allows us to ensure we have set up our showroom or warehouse with the right equipment and displays ahead of your visit – for example having the right mattresses set up on the floor or having mattress hoists set up ready for testing.
Working With Healthcare Professionals
Please note, whilst we are legally unable to prescribe beds or mattresses to customers, we advise consulting your healthcare professional ahead of reviewing our products.
You are even welcome to bring your healthcare professional along to your healthcare consultation or support worker, or we can liaise with them on your behalf.

No – European Bedding is not an Aged Care provider but we do supply to those on Aged Care packages through their aged care provider
An ACAT is required for any Aged Care funding, so if you are yet to organise this, we recommend heading to the ACAT website to submit an application – you can access the application form on the My Aged Care Government website here.

The sole purpose of this free service is to ensure our customers have all of the essential information and guidance they need ahead of making any purchase. No hard sell, no overwhelming sales pitches, just friendly service to educate you on your options so you can make the right purchase according to your exact needs.
No – there aren’t any private health providers offering rebates or discounts on our range of healthcare products. However, customers with either an NDIS Plan or Aged Care Plan are able to submit a claim to cover some of the purchase cost.
